MOBILE, Ala - In typical Gulf Coast fashion, the weather at Ladd-Peebles Stadium has switched between dry and torrential downpour like a faucet turning on and off.

No. 22 Ball State plays Tulsa in the GMAC Bowl at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The game will kickoff shortly after 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN. The first significant rain today at the GMAC Bowl came a few minutes after 5:00 p.m. ET. There has been three heavy down pours in the past hour, but none have last longer than five minutes.

There is a major thunderstorm cell 60 miles west of Mobile and moving at 10-20 mph. The storm is expected to reach Ladd-Peebles Stadium in the next couple hours.

Fans started filtering into the stadium at 6:00 p.m. ET. It has not rained during that time.
