Head Coach Tracy Roller lifts herself up near the billboard Thursday morning at the intersection of McGalliard Road and Bethel Avenue.

Ball State University Women's Basketball Head Coach Tracy Roller was raised on a scissor lift on Thursday morning at 7 a.m. at the intersection of McGalliard Road and Bethel Avenue to promote the team, in hopes of selling a school-record 1,000 season tickets. Roller will remain on the lift from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. every day until her goal is met.

Senior forwards Lisa Rusche and Julie DeMuth, junior guard Porchia Green and sophomore guard Audrey McDonald along with Director of Basketball Operations Kelsey Corbin visited Roller Thursday morning.

Cars have been heard honking their horn while Roller waves to them as they drive by.

General Manager of the Muncie International House of Pancakes Dewayne Pettiford and District Manager Bret Young brought Roller breakfast and coffee and Blue Bottle owner Tom Steiner brought her hot apple cider.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Roller was 650 tickets away from her goal. Fans wanting to buy tickets can visit the Worthen Arena Ticket Office, call 1-888-BSU-TICKET or visit www.ballstatesports.com/tickets. Adult season tickets are $80 and youth (less than 18 years old) season tickets are $20.
