SOCCER: Cardinals split weekend games

The Ball State University soccer team ended non-conference play with a 4-4 record after splitting its games Friday and Sunday. The Cardinals defeated the University of Loyola Chicago 3-1 Friday to extend their winning streak to three games. Jacki Eft led Ball State with two goals in the game. Ball State then concluded non-conference play with a 0-2 loss to the University of Dayton Sunday. Check Monday's edition of The Ball State Daily News for complete coverage of the weekend's games.
