The three-pronged attack of the Ball State University women's basketball team was too much for the University of North Dakota Sunday afternoon.
Less than 48 hours after a disappointing performance at North Dakota State University, Ball State (3-3) regrouped and used stellar performances by Audrey McDonald, Danielle Gratton, and Emily Maggert to pick up their third win of the season and get back to .500.
McDonald led the offense with 22 points. The senior guard hit four 3-pointers and 10 free throws. Maggert went 7-for-10 from the floor en route to posting 20 points. She also pulled down 16 boards to notch her fourth double-double of the season. Gratton added 18 points.
The combination of McDonald, Maggert, and Gratton helped Ball State break open a close game in the second half to send Ball State to the 89-77 victory.
