Ball State wins 11th straight match with victories vs. IPFW, Quincy

Walking around the Worthen Arena court following Friday's match against IPFW, coach Joel Walton looked up towards the ceiling and gave a deep sigh.
After spending almost 90 minutes watching the No. 7 Ball State University men's volleyball team comeback from a two-game deficit to win, Walton said he couldn't help but feel relieved to walk away without a loss.

Freshmen lead Cards with 5-1 weekend in singles action

Despite his teams 1-2 performance at the Boise State Invitational this weekend, Ball State University men's tennis coach Bill Richards said he saw his team moving in the right direction.
"It was a good weekend," Richards said. "For us the key thing is to get everyone to play good matches at the same time.

Miami defeats BSU with singles sweep, two doubles wins

The Ball State University women's tennis team was shutout 7-0 by Miami University in Saturday's Mid-American Conference openers for both teams. Cards try to defend their invitational final despite bad weather

Although weather conditions might not be great for today's Butler Invitational, the Ball State University women's golf team is not very concerned.
"We have three girls from Indiana, two from Canada and one from England," junior Sarah Windlan said. "I think we're pretty strong weather-wise.

Coach wants to play to prepare Cardinals for league games

Though the temperature might be a little cold today, the Ball State University softball team is going to try to force in a doubleheader at Valparaiso University.
Coach Craig Nicholson said the reason why the teams will try to force the games in is because both team begin conference play this weekend.

The Cardinals' three-game road trip at the University of Akron this weekend, which was scheduled to be the teams' Mid-American Conference opener, was canceled because of snow.
