Irene Stroh suffered minor injuries, was taken to hospital

A Ball State University student is in good condition after being struck by a car Tuesday afternoon at the scramble light intersection of Riverside and McKinley avenues.
Irene Stroh, 24, a graduate student, was transported to Ball Memorial Hospital, according to Muncie police.

Vehicles to move to new location this year before football games

Students will have to move their cars from Scheumann Stadium to a new location this year as Ball State University's first football game draws closer. Instead of parking on campus like previous years, vehicles parked in the stadium parking lot are being forced to move to the Delaware County Fairgrounds to better accommodate people commuting to Ball State.

City bus service to eliminate several routes on Tuesday

Tuesday was the first time Hannah Byers, a freshman Ball State University student, used the Muncie Indiana Transit System. "I plan on riding it regularly," she said. "I don't have a car." Despite growing ridership, MITS will eliminate several routes starting next Tuesday.

122 freshmen must live in study lounges because of excess

As more than 3,800 freshman enter Ball State University this fall, 122 will find themselves living in study lounges to begin the year.
For the first time in three years, the number of freshman admitted to the university has outnumbered the amount of rooms available for the students to live in, Director of Housing and Residence Life Alan Hargrave said.
