Students on panel express opinions on multicultural issues

A panel of students with different cultural backgrounds gave their opinions on issues related to multiculturalism presented on the American society at a multicultural forum held at Pruis Hall Tuesday night.
About 90 students attended the forum hosted by Student Government Association.

Investigator: Human error likely cause of fire

Muncie Fire Department officials were still unsure about what caused this morning's fire in the basement of LaFollette Complex, but it appears to have been the result of human error, fire department investigator David Miller said earlier this afternoon.
"We know where it started in the particular room - it was a custodial break room - but at this point, we're still uncertain," Miller said.

The Delaware County Airport can sport a new logo thanks to a Ball State University student.
According to a press release, senior Visual Communications major Samantha McIntire won the design contest for the airport out of a pool of 165 entries.
McIntire was awarded with the $500 contest prize at the Airport Authority Board meeting Tuesday.
