International students gather to teach BSU about their homelands

Staring at the ground as two bamboo poles clicked together, sophomore Kylie Price hesitantly leaped between them and rhythmically hopped back out before the rods clamped on her foot. As she danced through the poles, the two students clicking sticks together sang a melody from Taiwan.

Money to be put toward permanent scholarship fund

A $1.6 million gift from 1934 Ball State University graduates Marie and Gilbert Peart will provide students with scholarships for years to come.
The university received the gift following the death of Gilbert Peart in 2007. Marie Alice Peart died in 2006.

Sigma Kappa sorority brought in more than $1,000 for Alzheimer's research during its annual Aces High card game tournament Friday at Irving Gym.
President Abby Kaffenberger said between 30 and 45 people participated in Texas Hold'Em, Euchre and other games.
