Despite missed kick against Cornhuskers, Hoke stays with Hogue

A week after connecting on a game-winning field goal in overtime against Navy, Ball State University's first-year place kicker, Jake Hogue trotted out for another shot at glory against the University of Nebraska. Lining up for a 55-yard field goal with 84,394 Cornhusker fans screaming at the top of their lungs, Hogue said he tried to concentrate the best he could.

MEN'S TENNIS: Cardinals to split team

Ball State to play in multiple tournaments throughout weekend

Although it looks like a scheduling conflict, coach Bill Richards knew what he was doing when he scheduled the Ball State University men's tennis team to play in two separate tournaments this weekend. Juniors Jarrod Epkey and Jose Perdomo will compete nationally this weekend in Tulsa, Okla.
