Former Marine produces on the field after waiting 12 years to play

After the largest margin of victory at Scheumann Stadium since 1996, Ball State University football players sang the Cardinals' fight song and jogged off their home field Saturday. The atmosphere among the team after its win against the University at Buffalo was in stark contrast to what it was after Ball State's first home game of the season, a 14-13 loss to Miami University.

BSU has worst finish of the season thus far with 35-over-par 323

After the women's golf team's worst finish of the season, coach Katherine Mowat wasn't at all disappointed in her team Monday.
The Ball State University women's golf team shot a 35-over-par 323 in the final round of the Nittany Lion Invitational to finish the 56-hole tournament in seventh place out of 14 teams.

After 36 holes of the Xavier Invitational in Batavia, Ohio, the Ball State University men's golf team is tied for 11th place out of 20 teams.
Junior Brian Maurer leads the Cardinals and is tied for 21st place individually.
Sophomore Ross Cosat is four shots behind Maurer, and tied for 45th with a 146.
