Although Ball State University made a run to the Mid-American Conference title game last season, they only defeated one league opponent in both regular-season meetings. That opponent was Missouri State University. The Cardinals will try to keep that success going against Missouri State, who finished last in the MAC with just one league win last year.

Ball State travels to Ohio and Akron for weekend games

On its way to the 2006 regular season Mid-American Conference championship, the Ball State University women's soccer team beat all of its MAC foes, except for three teams. The Cardinals (5-4, 2-0 MAC) avenged their two losses last weekend with wins against Central Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University.

The Ball State University women's volleyball team has a two-match win streak, and it will look to make that a four match streak this weekend with two matches in Worthen Arena. "Its going to be fun to see our team playing with new found excitement and confidence after two wins last weekend," coach Dave Boos said.
