Illinois State beat Ball State last year for 1st loss of season

After beginning the past two seasons with five consecutive wins, the Ball State University's women's basketball has its worst record through the first seven games of the year since the 1998-99 campaign.
Despite the Cardinals' 3-4 record, junior guard Porchia Green said her team isn't deflated by the slow start.

University must sell all of the allotment or pay for tickets itself

With about a month until the Ball State University football team plays in the International Bowl, the university is responsible for selling 10,000 tickets. Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Tom Collins said Ball State was allotted 10,000 tickets and must sell them or it will have to pay for the tickets.
