BASEBALL: Home game rained out, next game Friday
For the second consecutive day, the Ball State University baseball team had its game canceled because of rain.
The Cardinals' game against the University of Indianapolis was canceled Wednesday, one day after Ball State's game against Anderson University was rained out.
The game against Anderson was rescheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, but no make-up was announced for the Indianapolis game. The games would have been the home openers for Ball State, which is 4-4 on the season.
The Cardinals' next game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at the University of Akron. The game is the opener for Mid-American Conference play.
