TRACK AND FIELD: First outdoor meet canceled
The Ball State University track and field team will have to wait another week to open its outdoor season.
Due to bad weather and poor track conditions, the Rocket Team Challenge, which was scheduled for Saturday, was canceled. The University of Toledo, which was to play host to the event, reported that the meet will not be rescheduled.
Ball State will next be in action Saturday, when the Cardinals travel to West Lafayette for the Mike Poelein Invitational.
