Gov. Mitch Daniel's campaign RV will visit Ball State University where campaign staff will work with a student organization to register voters Friday.

Derek Trovillion, RV coordinators for Daniel's campaign office, said RV1 will be in the parking lot near the Art and Journalism Building and Teachers College from about noon until 5 p.m.

"Essentially, we want to touch base with the students before they head into finals week and home for the summer," Trovillion said. "Hopefully, we'll be getting some students to register to vote."

Robert Burgess from College Republicans said his organization would help staff from RV1 register students to vote.

"Basically we're just providing information," he said. "We're just trying to get the word out."

Trovillion said there would also be yard games, such as cornhole, near the RV.
