Obama to speak at Anderson High School Saturday
Sen. Barack Obama will visit Anderson on Saturday, the presidential candidate's campaign office announced Thursday.
Obama will speak at Anderson High School where he will have a town hall meeting. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., and the event begins at 2:15 p.m.
The event is free to attend and open to the general public, but those wishing to attend need to pick up tickets from the Obama for America Anderson campaign office 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Admission is first-come, first-served.
Obama's campaign office recommends people do not bring bags and bring as few personal items as possible for security reasons. No signs or banners will be allowed.
The Anderson office is located at 2101 E. 8th St.

I wanted to post this because I feel in many ways the younger generation and my generation, senior citizen African American have so much in common - we both are striving for hope and change. (Continued…)

In Obama first publication " Dreams from My Father", in 1995, there were two pictures on the cover, him and his sister. Obama republished " Dreams from My Father in 2004. (Continued…)
