A blend of students, faculty and staff came together today to celebrate the rededication of the L.A. Pittenger Student Center in the Student Center Tally.
Kay Bales, vice president for student affairs and dean of students, began the ceremony, followed by remarks from President Jo Ann Gora and Student Government Association President Beth Cahill.
Gora reflected on the Student Center renovation being a part of the Education Redefined plan in creating a vibrant and energetic campus culture.
"It's nice to see making such a difference on the south end of campus," said Gora.
A reception and self-guided tours followed the ribbon cutting and closing remarks from Bales.
